The climax of the 2025 Formula 1 season is fast approaching. With just five races left on the calendar, tension is mounting not only for the title fight but also for the two new faces on the grid: Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli and Haas driver Ollie Bearman. Both talents are showcasing their caliber in the closing stages of their debut year.

Bearman particularly stood out in Mexico City, where he achieved a highlight in his young career. Following an intense battle with established names such as Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri, the Brit secured his highest finish to date for the Haas F1-team.

Antonelli likewise enjoyed a strong run, scoring his best F1 result in Sao Paulo. His Mercedes teammate George Russell had already emphasized the importance of teamwork in order to fight for world titles in the future. Before making their way to Formula 1, Antonelli and Bearman shared the paddock in the junior Formula 2 series, where they raced as teammates. The pair recently met up to compare notes on their inaugural F1 campaign.

Meanwhile, away from the tracks, the Cadillac Formule 1-team is preparing intensively for its debut in March 2026. From their base in Silverstone, they are already running race simulations against prospective rivals. This rare glimpse into their preparations is crucial for ironing out any teething troubles before they officially take to the grid.
