Anthoine Hubert, a compatriot and friend of Gasly, tragically lost his life a few years ago during a Formula 2 race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. His death shocked the entire paddock and left a deep wound in the motorsport community.
Dilano van 't Hoff, a talented Dutch junior driver, also lost his life last year at the same Belgian circuit. Both accidents brutally highlighted the inherent dangers and vulnerability of racing at the top level.
