Williams boss Vowles launches review following development pace concerns

Williams team principal James Vowles has publicly admitted that the outfit's current pace of development falls short. Their ambition to move further up the Formula 1 grid is being compromised by the sluggish rate of car improvements.
These concerns reached a head after a particularly challenging race weekend at Silverstone, where the FW46 proved insufficiently competitive, putting further pressure on the team.
In direct response, the Grove-based squad has launched an intensive two-week evaluation, conducting a critical review of the entire upgrade program to pinpoint exact bottlenecks.
Vowles indicated that performance in this area does not align with the goals set by the team. This internal investigation aims to establish how Williams can accelerate development and improve their championship standing.
