Charles Leclerc is looking beyond the current Formula 1 season to identify one of the biggest challenges awaiting him in the near future. The Ferrari driver is focusing particularly on the sweeping regulatory changes that take effect in 2026.

According to Leclerc, the key lies in successfully blending his trademark aggressive driving style with the characteristics of that year's Formula 1 machinery. He views this adaptation as an essential element of his preparation.

Although the next-generation cars will not debut for another two seasons, the Monegasque acknowledges that mental and technical preparation is already underway. In his view, it is a process that will demand significant attention over the coming year.

While the exact details of the 2026 specifications remain under development, the cars are expected to feel and react fundamentally differently compared to current machinery. This will likely require every driver to carefully recalibrate their approach.
