Aston Martin is enduring a downright disappointing start to the Formula 1 season. Performance issues for the Silverstone-based squad are drawing attention and raising questions about the approach behind the scenes, with recent observations even pointing to a genuine 'red flag' within the organization.
At the heart of this concern is top designer Adrian Newey himself. He indicated that insufficient time may have been invested in consulting the team's drivers during the crucial development phase of the new car. This lack of cockpit feedback is now reportedly taking its toll.
Such a shortcoming in the development process can have far-reaching consequences.
